SUBJECT:  Armored Company THOUGHT:  Even armor can not fend of faith.

    Here is the information I have collected on 5th Company of the Vindicators, know as the Leviathans.

Codex Leviathans:  Specifics on supplying the 5th Company 

The Leviathans rely on tanks.  They have more tanks than any other battle company I've studied, fielding almost 100 tanks in a given campaign.  Marine troops are relegated to a secondary roll, and specialize in clearing buildings and bunkers the Leviathans decide need to be captured.  Usually they just destroy buildings with their siege tanks, which they have in plentiful supply. I was able to secure this document on their command structure.

    Command Vehicle:  Usually a Land Raider permanently houses the command cadre.  From here Captain Blackstone has access to multiple computers to see how the battle is progressing.  Their specially modified Land Raiders have most of their storage space taken up with communication and battle analysis equipment, so can't fill the roll of a troop transport.
    Sometimes a Lieutenant specially modifies a Predator to act as his command vehicle, and these often have extra armor welded on, as well as using some kind of advanced targeting computer to allow it to fire more effectively while moving.

    Razorback Light Tank:  The passenger compartment has been totally replaced to house extra munitions and supplies.  It also has sleeping quarters built in, so the crew don't have to ever leave the vehicle.  Most squadrons fill an anti-infantry roll, using the Torrent Heavy Bolter.  Some fill an anti-armor roll, mounting the Annihilator Laser Cannon or the Nova Cannon.  One squadron uses the Dragon's Breath Cannon.

    Predator Main Battle Tank:  Both the Destructor and Annihilator variants are common, with two squadrons of Razorbacks typically supported by one squadron of Predators.

    Whirlwind AA/AG Missile Platform:  Often, a Leviathan force is supported by a few of these missile platforms, to fill an anti-air roll.  They are sometimes used to launch their Phoenix missiles upon hardened ground targets.

    Vindicator Siege Tank:  These tanks fill a vital supporting roll, giving the Leviathans a devastating weapon to blast apart enemy fortifications.  It was a Leviathan Vindicator Squadron that utterly destroyed Ork Warlord Hugrogk during the Crusade of Deliverance.

    Rhino Transport:  This vehicle is used to ferry supplies from a Leviathan base to the battle force.  Often, a detachment will be accompanied by a small squadron of Rhino to re-supply quickly after a conflict.  These transports are used primarily to carry Demolisher shells.
